On Friday, 25 July 2025, Migration and Society (MASO) participated in the end-of-term closing ceremony at Thandazga Primary School, located approximately one kilometer from Mzuzu Academy.
As part of its commitment to education, MASO presented school-related gifts to top-performing students across all classes. These awards are aimed at motivating learners to work hard and improve academic performance as they progress in their education journey. MASO also supports the school through ongoing study circles that enhance learning outcomes.
This year’s ceremony highlighted healthy academic competition, with several new learners excelling. However, it was disheartening to learn that some students were unable to sit for their exams due to lack of examination fees. MASO invites well-wishers to support these learners. Contributions can be made through MASO or directly to the school.
MASO was represented by Project Officers Audrey Murphy and Kingdom Chavinda.
